My journey to Ban Bath (Day:5)

On this day, I did a forging the seams of the monk bowl but this one is a different shape from the previous one that I did a few days ago.

This shape is called “Manao shape”(Lime-shape).

Historically, the Manao shape(Lime-shape) is about 80–90 years. The curve of the monk bowl is similar to a lime.

Lime-shape is the one of easiest for forging the seam because it is curvy and so round. Thus, It is not hard to aim and hit the seam in the correct position.
